Huvuddomarens uppgift är att vara support för jurypanelen och se till så att de tex. håller tider, följer reglerna och är införstådda med bedömningssystemet. Huvuddomaren gör ingen bildbedömning om han/hon inte behöver hoppa in för att ersätta någon i den ordinarie panelen tex vi risk för jäv.
Domare bedömer bilderna i tävlingen, som är helt digital. Olika domare bedömer olika kategorier baserat på varje domares unika kompetens. Den digitala bedömningen görs online med stöd av huvuddomaren.

HUVUDDOMARE - JÖRGEN BRANDT, DANMARK
Fotografi er for mig en livsstil, et arbejde og en hobby – og grænserne flydende eller ikke eksisterende. I det kommercielle arbejder jeg med at fange stemning og følelse, at fange ”mennesket” som et levende individ – som et glimt af deres ”personlighed”. Billederne er tit portrætter af enkelte eller familier, fine art nude (boudoir), gravide, nyfødte, børn etc. Gennem tiden har jeg udstillet på forskellige gallerier samt museer og været med på en hel del udstillinger andre steder.
Egen fotokunst I mine egne natur og abstrakte eller Fine Art Nude billeder er det egentligt noget af det samme. Lyset og formen er altid med og skal understøtte billedet Som fotograf arbejder jeg i mine egne billeder mere og mere med det abstrakte, måske nærmere abstraktionen, hvor tingene bliver til mere og ofte andet end de er.
For mig handler fotografiet ikke om hvad jeg ser eller om hvad virkeligheden er. Det gjorde i begyndelsen og faktisk i mange år. Det var spændende, det udviklede sig – men det var, set i bakspejlet, også en spændetrøje. Virkeligheden, så spændende og udfordrende den kan være, er egentlig uinteressant i fantasiens verden. Det uanset om fantasien udspringer af virkeligheden eller ikke. Mine egne fotografier handler fantasi, der er opstået i den måde jeg vælger at se og bruge verden i mine billeder.
Desuden underviser jeg i og holder foredrag om fotografi i Danmark, på Færøerne, Japan, Letland, Frankrig, UK, Sverige med flere.
Har været/er mentor for fotografer fra bl.a. Danmark, Norge, Sverige, UK, Holland, Belgien, Slovakiet, Frankrig m. fl.

My name is Ann Coppens and I am a photographer living in Belgium.
My great passion for nature and wildlife photography has taken me to many corners of the globe.
With my camera I am always looking for emotions. One of my aims is to capture the perfect light in a photo.
As a wildlife photographer you need to have the patience to be able to get that one moment in an image. For this moment I often have to wait several hours or days. But catching that look that says it all or that moment when the light is perfect in the scenery makes it all worth-will.

Vi har en tendens att ta bättre hand om saker och platser som har ett estetiskt värde för oss. Men var hittar vi skönhet? Jag tror att vi alla kan bli bättre på det. Kanske misslyckas vi med att se de värden som finns nästan överallt runt omkring oss många gånger innan vi till sist lyckas. Men så länge vi fokuserar på att bli sämre på att misslyckas finns det hopp.
För mig handlar fotografering om resor. Inte minst de mentala, att låta sig svepas med i kreativitet, förlorad i tid och rum. Rent fysiskt tar fotograferingen mig till vitt skilda platser och miljöer, från avlägsna vildmarker till stora städer. Själva kärnpunkten i mina bilder handlar om varelserna i förhållande till de miljöer de befinner sig i, oavsett om det rör sig om människor eller djur, stad eller natur.
Som biolog/ekolog tar jag de flesta av mina kliv i naturen, där jag svingar allt från vidvinklar till långa teleobjektiv. Motivmässigt ser jag hellre möjligheter än begränsningar och låter mig gärna inspireras av andra fotografer för att utvecklas och kläcka egna bildidéer. Estetik går före art, hellre en läcker bild på en blåsippa än en sämre dito på en sällsynt orkidé.
Mina första bilder tog jag med en Instamatic runt 1974. Motivet var ett par gråsparvar i en nyponhäck. Trots det monumentala misslyckandet överlevde intresset för fotografering. För några år sedan tog jag en yrkesexamen för naturfotografer i Finland efter att ha gått den yrkesförberedande utbildningen NaFo i samma land. Under de senaste åren har jag tävlat en del med bilder, bland annat för att det skärper blicken för vad som verkligen är bra bilder. Hittills har det blivit mer än 50 internationella utmärkelser, där jag i naturbildssammanhang värderar flera pallplatser i norska Nordic Nature Photo Contest (NNPC) högst.
Jag är en uppskattad föredragshållare och äntrar gärna scenen i såväl mindre sammanslutningar som i större sammanhang (i pandemitider jobbar jag även digitalt). Som fotograferande skribent är jag bland annat publicerad i Camera Natura och norska Natur&Foto där jag fått in flera artiklar, den senaste ett resereportage från en paddling i Kanadas vildmarker. Mina verk har visats i ett flertal enskilda utställningar samt i en stor mängd samlingsutställningar såväl inom Sverige som utomlands.

SANDESH KADUR, INDIEN
BAFTA award winning filmmaker and National Geographic Fellow, Sandesh Kadur, creates documentary films that have aired worldwide on prominent networks such as National Geographic, the BBC, Netflix, Discovery Channel, and Animal Planet. He is a Fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers, a member of the International Environmental Photographers Association (Japan), and a member on the board of the International Association of Wildlife Filmmakers.
His work spans from the elusive snow leopard in the Himalaya to the Okavango Delta in Botswana & the endangered Kemp’s Ridley turtles in Mexico. Sandesh is the producer of a 3-part docu-series for National Geographic titled ‘Wild Cats of India’ & ‘India’s Wild Leopards’. He is also the co-author of two books, Sahyadris: India’s Western Ghats – A Vanishing Heritage (2005) and Himalaya – Mountains of Life (2013). His first documentary, Sahyadris: Mountains of the Monsoon (2002), which was accompanied by his first book, earned critical acclaim while drawing attention to one of the world's top biodiversity hotspots, and helped convince UNESCO to name the Western Ghats a World Heritage Site in 2012.
Sandesh’s work has won a slew of prestigious international awards, including a 2017 EMMY nomination and the 2017 BAFTA award for his work on BBC Planet Earth II. In 2013, Sandesh received the Nature’s Best Windland Smith Rice Award and the North American Nature Photographers (NANPA) Vision Award in recognition of early career excellence and continuation of vision and inspiration to others in nature photography, conservation, and education. Prior to these, he has won the International Conservation Photographer Award (2012), CIWEM Environmental Photographer of the Year (2008), multiple International Wildlife Film Festival Merit awards, was awarded Gold REMI Award for Creative Excellence (2003), and was nominated twice for a Green Oscar at the Wildscreen Film Festival, among many other awards and nominations.
Sandesh hopes that his photographs and documentaries will reveal places and species people rarely see and will inspire new passion to protect them. “I help people connect emotionally with the beauty of the wilderness, bring conservation issues to light, and raise awareness in a way that fosters respect and concern. I also try to make powerful graphic images that expose how much we are losing.”

PETER LIK - AUSTRALIEN
Australian-born Peter Lik has spent over 30 years pushing the boundaries of fine art. A self-taught pioneer in the field of landscape photography, he is internationally renowned for captivating images of Mother Nature’s raw beauty. Thousands of dedicated collectors and a myriad of award wins from the world’s leading institutions have marked a successful career – which also includes an impressive 12 galleries around the United States and record-breaking sales.
Peter has been given the title of Master Photographer from both Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP). He has also received fellowships from the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) and the Royal Photographic Society (RPS).
In 2014, Peter shattered a world record by selling his famed image, Phantom, to an anonymous collector for $6.5 million. Then, in early 2015, he was presented with the very coveted Lifetime Achievement Award at PPA’s Imaging USA in Nashville. He is only the 13th photographer in history to ever receive this honor.
Today, Peter continues to follow his calling to capture and share the most beautiful places on earth.

My passion for wildlife has taken me around the world and there is nothing I love doing more and I try hard to show that passion through my images. I spend hours in the field and what some people don’t understand is that some feelings you get are priceless…it is a true blessing to be able to take the time to sit and watch wildlife let alone photograph it. Sometimes it’s more important to experience the moment rather than miss it taking photos. There is no better feeling than having those magical moments that will probably never be repeated but stay with you forever. Irina Petrova is an internationally published and award winning photographer and artist. ANDERS SUNDKVIST, SVERIGE
Naturfotograf med Västerås som bas vars främsta mål med fotograferandet är att mina bilder ska inspirera andra att ta sig tid att lämna alla måsten för en stund och i stället ge sig ut för att uppleva lugnet och skönheten i vår vackra svenska natur.
Jag började med naturfoto förhållandevis sent i livet. I början var det mest för att stressa ner och koppla bort tankarna från mitt arbete som elkonsult men det förändrades när jag 2015 blev medlem i Naturfoto Västmanland. En förening för naturfotografer där fler av medlemmarna är etablerade naturfotografer som nått både nationella och internationella framgångar med sina bilder. Genom att inspireras av dem kunde jag bredda mitt bildskapande från att i stort sett enbart bestå av fågelfoto till att omfatta allt från macro till det storslagna landskapet.
Framgångar i föreningens egna tävlingar har sedan gett den återkoppling som behövdes för att våga ta steget till att delta i fototävlingar där en topp 10 placering i NNPC och SM-titeln än så länge är de största meriterna.
